Error while trying to login into SEOLads
During some time (I think a few hours, I was unable to login on SEOLads) due to this error:
"Hosting Server Connect Timeout"
Do you know what happened?

Yes I also encountered this same problem that you are talking about. I guess it is some hosting issues.

Yes it happened when several click on same time from similar IP done for login or trying to reach any website.
There is no issue just give 2 min break and clean browser history and re-login and ... taaa daaa your successfully logged in. ?

During a few hours I tried to login but the issue was not fixed...
Sometimes you do not want to clear the browsing history and should not be compelled to do so.

You can clear your cache/cookies for specific domains on most browsers (if not all).

Errors like these are easily fixed by clearing browser cache and cookies, or by refreshing the page. I was able to log in just now and it appears that this issue has been fixed. If you are still receiving this error, you may want to send in a ticket to the help desk so they can get it fixed as it may not be just you having this issue.

The same problem is here for me again and again. It seems like the DNS provider for SEOLads causes the issue, at least that's what i think.
Sometimes it happens when i try to deliver an order, or inbox someone... Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I get that from time to time and i just got the same error 1 hour ago when i tried to deliver an order.
Also, the new editor is so buggy, it would say "Message too short" while the text is ok. Anytime i deliver, i must click Deliver twice...

The message too short error should be resolved. The double click issue should be resolved soon.

There are also issues and bugs while while copy-pasting, while modifying the description / instructions... for an example, and this happened twice in a row - I'm writing the brand new Instructions, and then click on Source in order to copy-paste the code elsewhere. Poof, half of it was automatically removed, ctrl+z didn't help. I had such an issue in the past on the F website, and it was caused when the user used an "illegal" symbol, everything after that symbol was removed.... I had so many different issues in the past few days with this new Editor that it's impossible not to complain about it: The font is much smaller than the surrounding one and than the one which will appear after submitting what was written. Clicking on the Submit button after modifying description/instructions does nothing, it slightly scrolls the page upwards, it will succeed after the 5th attempt maybe. And few other issues which really look bad. I must say it's absolutely the worst one I've encountered anywhere on the internet, on any website and especially forum, in the past 16 years. We had a very good one , and now it's replaced by something very bad. It takes more time to do the same stuff for a start, besides the issues.

Truncation of text
Formatting issues when pasting from rich text
Font size issue
Not submitting on first submit press

Here's Two things for you for now, the 2nd one might be tricky one i.e. it may not be considered a bug at all, it may just be a bad practice of mine.
Do the thing in this picture and click where the red circle is - the small window closes instead of scrolling down to choose another color.
My "greeting" message for each new order contains a pre-written part which contains the following:
...what I do next is copy-paste the client's URL from a "purified" place... (I say purified because in the past, sometimes, the clients copy-pasted a message from another marketplace to SEOLads, and by doing that they also attached an invisible character next to the URL they've provided [probably a new line or something like that] which was not a good thing).... and from that "purified" place I copy-pasted the client's URL Right After the the ids= part from my
above (In the end you'll get something like this -
In the past, no automatic hyperlink was being created. Bummer, I had to manually color those links in blue just so the client can spot them right away. But now there IS an automatic hyperlink:
A) Weird error: From the blue URL above, only the (afterwards) added URL https://google com was auto hyperlinked (to the same URL), and the fixed part which was in front of it was left "greyed" out, not considered a part of the URL. So instead of landing on the whole Graph API link, the client would land on Google.com.
B) Weird error which just occurred
above. I copy pasted it from my browser's address bar
. You'll end up on the final SEOLads URL to the only picture I uploaded (via Insert Image) much before in this reply of mine. I don't know how that happened, but that was automatically set, not manually by me.

#1 is definitely odd. I can replicate it easily.
#2 I pasted your example link and do not get a hyperlink in the editor or source code. In fact, neither of your urls are actually links above. What browser and version are you using? Is this a feature of your browser (auto converting URLs into links in text areas)?

#1 - still won't work. Maybe it's the NoScript addon that's causing this, nothing else comes up on my mind.
#2 - The "feature" is not browser-related, it's because of the new editor. It never happened before in the past 4.5 years, it first happened when I copy-pasted a link in the new editor's text field.
And here's why it's happening - it "picks up" the formatting, the hyperlink on the page from where I'm copying the link. This is easily avoidable but requires few more clicks from my side.
But wait, there's more...
This is a merged picture:
- in the upper part you can see the Instructions before or after editing the service. And yes, those 2 dark blue things are .png pics uploaded from my pc.
- In the lower part you can see the Instructions as seen from the order's page itself, I guess that's what the client sees, so I had to quickly replace the 2 pics with a normal text.
I wrote a reply in the most normal way and submitted it. I had to select all that text and copy it, in order to paste it elsewhere to send it there as well - just look at the result in the new editor's text field, it 'breaks line' after some point and continues with the text in a new line, repeatedly.

And another issue. Uploading a pic or posting a smiley in the "Inbox" section results in the same completely white pictures.

This should be resolved now as well. Hopefully the copy/paste options are resolved for you as well?
And "undo" should be fixed soon as well (undo after pasting still does not work).

There are many more I'm afraid, they just forced me to do things much different than before because with the new editor, what I was doing in the past now results in a chaos, the end message looks slightly chaotic.
Instead of spending too much time explaining things, it's best for me to record what is happening, but that can't happen while I'm working on my pc. So you'll have to wait for what I have to show you I'm afraid.
I just spent additional 10 minutes 'compiling' a reply on an order's page because the editor here attaches / picks up invisible symbols at first sight because of which whoever tries to copy-paste the thing written there it will either end up on the proper URL, or in Google search because something was added before the http//.... or it will open the link which consists of 2 links actually (Example:
) but something was attached before the
http. So additional checks and modifications have to be made to make sure everything is well. I'll send you a video of everything, I will replicate it.
I'd pay to be able to use the old editor. The new one has 0 advantages and a bunch of irregular, illogical things.
Do you see the many question marks at the beginning of my previous paragraph ? How on Earth were they created ? I wrote everything manual and I merely used Shift+Enter where you can see them.
Sorry buddy but this is absolutely unacceptable for such a marketplace.

I'll send you the video I wrote about but I'm telling you in the most friendliest way that I'm literally all in sweat at the moment due to frustrations bcs the editor has so many bugs. I don't understand why you replaced a perfectly working editor. I can't write anymore at the moment I'm extremely pissed off.

No need to be rude, I'm sure Jordan thought the users would love the editor, but was taken aback and disappointed when he realized it has bugs. We are talking about Jordan here, the bugs will be fixed. Please give him some time. Perfection comes with time as well.

nothing in my previous reply is rude, so kindly avoid lecturing other people and going off-topic. Writing that "I'm pissed off" is not rudeness, I merely provided a sincere explanation as to why
won't be able to receive a video or any other reply from me in the following hours. You may want to read all of my previous replies to get a good understanding.
I've reported few bugs/errors to Jordan before, same goes with some of the Support Staff members as well, I'm active every day here for 4.5 years.
Don't mind me or any other user having issues with the new editor - why would anyone spend time to fix a bunch of bugs to make the new editor work just like the previous one did ? From what I can see at first sight - the new editor doesn't offer any other new options.
And in the meantime, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, I have to spend significantly much more time for each order just to make sure that everything is written and copy-pasted well. Visual confirmation is not enough due to all the invisible symbols. There are things which I can avoid using until all is fixed but I can't replace lots of links and info in the Delivery reply with a "Job done" type of reply just because an untested editor has been put to use. It's not fair towards the users and it sure isn't pleasant for the marketplace/brand itself.

This is resolved, we are getting used to the new Editor, but it's really buggy when you try to Edit a service it would just mess up everything. Why when we tick "NO" in Settings to use the Advanced Editor it doesn't revert to the old one? That should be an option.
Some people are just old school huh!

Ok, the ? bug is fixed as well.
Aside from the benefits this editor allows us (and disregarding the bugs), the old editor had some issues and limitations that resulted in it being replaced. We are sorry there has been this many bugs and some of the bugs aren't because of the editor but rather because of other changes we made in the backend (like lazy loading images which resulted in blank images on AJAX submit - while it looks like it is because of the new editor, it wasn't).
Additionally, SEOLads also bought and owns the code/license for this editor. We intend on updating it and releasing it for
for anyone and everyone (personal and commercial)!
