One thing that is very common with all business is that every now and then, the business either appreciates or depreciates with the influence of some variables.
We have already seen how 2018 almost went with freelance jobs, what's your assumptions about what 2019 would hold for freelance writers?
So far based on my observations on trends in 2018, I can say that freelance jobs would appreciate this coming 2019. As we can see in the past few years, one of the most in demand jobs are business outsourcing. Through this trend, I can see that freelance jobs would really appreciate in 2019
I agree. It's a trend now to just hire workers online from overseas than employing a physical employee. It's cheaper and saves the employer lots of money and resource by doing this. Outsourcing jobs is going to be a big trend in 2019 for sure. Everyone wants to work at the comfort of their own homes than dealing with the commute of going to work.
Yeah that's true, people prefer to hire online and get work done for them from the comfort of their sitting room.
That is true. I will be one of those who will still work online.
The jobs will just increase as entrepreneurs of all sorts dive into the platform and are already ripping big profits. many more will continue with the online war for several months to come.
It is also encouraging to know that you have the best professionals in the field from all over the world handling the work rather than relying on any local talent even when they have insufficient skills.
I agree. I like that freelancing is creating new job opportunities for people with niche skills too. Sometimes, jobs are too generalized and some skills aren't utilized in the office environment.
Maybe because it more convenient. We don't need to ride going to our office but instead we can stay at home do some jobs.
I totally agree with you,I think more people will come online to either hire or work online. People have come know about freelancing and I believe it will be more pronounced by 2019 and I don't think it will depreciate in any way.
Exactly, as much as the world is going more digital and more computerized I don't see freelance job going down.
That is right. Working online is a nice trend today and I hope it will continue next year and in the years to come.
I agree. Freelance jobs would still be in demand on that time year. There would be a lot of freelance jobs coming in that time.
It will be on ground as long as I can tell or let's say as long as the plane flies and will even get better and better because of the digital expansion.
I know right. We should be thankful with the technologies we have we can use it to our own comfort. Freelancing is one the advantage in here and it's very accessible to everybody. All we need is a strong internet connection and boom, we kind find an online job.
Yeah really, am in support of your suggestion because the world is going more digital and its expanding so I believe it will appreciate.
That is right. It is still trending. I think it will go on next year.
Totally agree. I think there would be even lot of opportunities for next year. It has been broadcast to Television for probably freelancing will be appreciated more on 2019.
I agree that freelance jobs would still be appreciated this coming 2019 because of the demands and people are turning into this kind of job. I used to have some friends who also tries to be in a freelance job and they are liking it because of its convenience and we don't even need to go out and travel going to our offline jobs.
Freelancing is like a new way of making money now and people are catching the bug greatly. So what I envisage is more people getting online to work and the jobs online will continue to blossom making room for very good offers.
I agree. More and more people are now learning about freelancing and how it actually works. There is nk doubt that freelancing will appreciate next year.
I agree with you. it is a new way of earning money. People have choices.
You’re right - I think the more that people become aware of freelancing as a career opportunity, the more we will see the market expand. I think where possible, people want to be able to set their own hours and work for themselves.
Exactly! It was also great for those who can't find some decent job and for those fresh graduates that are having a hard time on getting their first job. This would still appreciated in 2019 because of the people who have those talent or potential in this kind of industry.
I feel they will appreciate. There are those retiring and scarcity of jobs. Many will go for freestanding.
Yeah, as more people leave the physical field they venture more to explore their skill online.
The same is what I feel for it. It will continue to appreciate next year.
Yes that's true. Many more will join and do freelancing next year. It is one of the easiest way to earn money without going to every interview. In here all we need is a skill and perseverance to find a suitable job for you online.
I think local jobs are reducing in number and freelance jobs are rising. More and more people are coming to work remotely. And some of the time it feels like AI replacing the local jobs. So surely I'd say that freelance jobs are going to appreciate on design and creativity field. You can see the rise in those type of the niche for the jobs.
I agree that the number of freelancing opportunities will increase. The way we work is completely changing. Companies realizability that the cost of freelancing is cheaper as compared to hiring someone when you don't know how long you will have a business. I think though that competition for these jibs will be fierce as more freelancers are coming online are willing to work for peanuts. Trend is positive and negative.
I think freelancing as an industry is still growing and I hope that 2019 will see more expansion too. I think many of us look to freelancing as something that does give us flexibility to set our own hours and work for ourselves rather than for a terrible boss. For those reasons I think freelancing makes logical sense!
I agree with your words. I hope for the best for freelancing industry in 2019.
I do think that more people would be eyeing online work and there would be no scarcity of finding one because a lot of businesses are now going online. Plus with the billions of smartphone users accessing the internet, I do think that online businesses and online work would be booming come 2019.
There are definite benefits for businesses to operate online or remotely when they can, so I do think that we will see an expansion in that. It can be very cost saving for businesses to have their staff working from home.
That is right. I find comfort in your words. It is because I am working online as of today.
More people are getting in touch and educated about freelancing jobs. So I think, it will appreciate. Since technology are now much easier to have, more people will take it as an advantage to earn some money from it. 2018 is the year when I learned more about freelancing and it is the year when I decided to make good use of it. I think that freelancing is not at its peak already, and there is a big chance that it will still rise up next year.
In my opinion,so long as there is internet, freelancing is key.Trends in freelancing are bound to change but jobs will always be there.
You are right in saying that as long as there is internet freelancing will still exist and even thrive.
Freelance job would still be appreciated next year and perhaps in demands. There are a lot of people who wants to do freelance job since it's more convenient and all you need to do is strong connection.
That is right. Freelancing is more convenient. We only need to have strong internet connections.
I think it will appreciate this new year. I hope I can find one freelance job next year.
Same with me. I want to find out job that can pay me atleast 50$ a month. And from there onwards I wish to take the more jobs as the new year ends. So hopefully I can find enough good jobs that can last for few months. And also I get to get paid on regular basis.
Freelance jobs have a huge demand in the market and they only rise in the upcoming year. Many people are into. Freelancing owing to unemployment and lesser opportunities outside. Also they are making good income on the Internet and sites like PayPal have made their lives easier by depositing the money straight to their bank accounts within a matter of a few days.
I concur about the rise, it's almost 100%. The economical situation around the world is simply terrifying, and moreover, there are many corrupt governments who wouldn't improve the average lives of their citizens, therefore people seek financial refuge in freelancing and cryptocurrencies.
I think that freelancing jobs would tend to appreciate more in the year 2019 as many people now are interested to have it as it is a good source of an extra income or a full time job for those people who have some great skills online. I think that as along as people are enjoying freelancing jobs then it would definitely increased in numbers as time goes by especially that it give us some earnings that are very useful in our day to day lives.
More people are starting online businesses or existing businesses that yet don't have websites are launching websites to promote their businesses.
Many of these new web owners will hire content writers to write articles or blog posts for them. So I'm sure that in 2019, there'll be more freelance work for writers and SEO experts.
For writers who wish to earn more, learn SEO so you can charge more for your services.
I don't think freelancing will ever be obsolete. We've had freelancing in our society for many years now even without the use of the internet. Online freelancing would probably just evolve into something even bigger and better in the future.
Considering the fact that outsourcing is cheaper instead of hiring full time staff, many businesses will in future choose to outsource most of the work that doesn't require:
-somebody to be in the office.
-talk to clients or customers face to face.
That too might change when Virtual reality technology is perfected.
I think freelance jobs will continue to rise up as time goes by, I feel like maybe time will come that almost all the people are in their home doing jobs online, not only did they have more time to spend with their family, but the flexibility of most online jobs is one of the many advantages of having a job online also you have the freedom to apply to many different websites that pays, you're not underpaid like most of the 9-5 jobs if you really put in the effort and find a really good company to work with.
Freelancing jobs are always warranted, especially because of the variety of jobs that are available. I think they will continue to rise and the amount of freelancers with them. People simply prefer to work at home nowadays, because everyone keep believing that their "offline" jobs aren't paying them fairly.
Freelancing will be in demand in 2019. It is the new trend. A lot of people are aware with this means of job. I hope that it will still have a room for everyone since the number of workers is increasing. It will be a challenging episode to competent among others. I am also thinking that in some instances there will be more scam company exist. One should take consideration to look for a legitimate company. Beware.
Let's be honest, our demography grows, and it grows in such countries where the economy is unstable and people don't trust their own goverment (myself I'm from such country, with the exception of demography not growing). People just favor online jobs, because they feel safer.
I am not certain about a place that's safer these days. Offline or online has advantages and disadvantages. I think, people intend to work online because it serves as place for another job opportunity. Mostly, like to grab that chance to fill in. With the increasing demands of work online scammers will be rampant and visible. Either ways, we just need to be careful.
I just hope that it wouldn't mean for the old freelancers to be having a hard time getting offers from clients because of the competition.
Yes, I believe so too. As we are in the digital age, online freelance jobs would surely appreciate. The demand for such jobs would continue to rise as our technology improves. The internet would influence more people.
Freelancing will be appreciated more in 2019. A lot of people want to earn while learning and that's what you get when you are a freelancer.
I think that freelancing jobs would keep on increasing as years goes by because it is already in the business industry for a long period of time. A lot of people are starting to love freelancing activities because of the money that each and everyone is receiving as a reward for doing a great job as well as the leanings that each and everyone of us can get.
Yes, it's also good that people love freelancing because of the comfort that it brings.
I believe one of the reason of the continuous growth of online or home based jobs are the worsening problems in traffic. Everyone were affected by this mammoth problem. Employer and employees loses so much because of this. Online jobs are great opportunities to avoid problems in traffic. Because of this trend, the rise of demands in online jobs will continue to rise this 2019.
Yeah! I also want to share something with you. I suggested to a friend of mine to do freelancing as well, and he refused because he claims them to be unstable. Yet he found himself a job, which barely pays him, keeps him up for 12 hours working. And also, he already managed to get accused of theft/lack of budget (he is working in a shop). So basically the guard won't even let him leave the shop to go home. How terrible is that?
With the expected continuous rise of people accessing the internet thru their Smartphones, there's no question that more online jobs would be created and the number of Online Freelancers would rise to keep up with the demand.
I believe freelance jobs will appreciate. More people are using the internet every day and more people are becoming aware that they can have jobs done at very low rates by freelancers online. The convenience of getting a job done with just a few keystrokes on the computer is a great selling point and the assurance that they can get a refund if they are not satisfied with the job submitted will ensure that more freelance jobs are available in 2019
Freelancing jobs would really increase in the coming years as long as the problem in traffic is not being address and given a solution by our government. People would surely divert their attention in working as a freelancer as it saves time and money instead of traveling and be stuck in the heavy traffic from going to our respective works. As a freelancer they can work at their own convenience without the need of going out for their respective houses and most especially they can have time for their kids and family after doing their freelancing works which is really great to have.
Yes, the problem in traffic is something so horrible that people are thinking of quitting their jobs and be online already. Well, it's still a good thing, as long as they can keep their job for a very long time.
For me, the biggest attraction of freelance jobs would be the flexibility of time and the fact that you won't suffer traffic. These two are definitely part of the reason why people would go for this. If you are good with your craft or skill then, your income would be much better than most regular jobs.
I think they would appreciate. Like what I've said in the other thread, the trend now is that more and more people are turning to online independent businesses for services and products, and in turn, more and more are investing on online earning opportunities. I believe that we'll see an even greater expansion of the freelancing industry this coming 2019.
I find a new freelance platform every day. I think this trend is growing and next year we will have more opportunities and more competitions among freelancers. That's why you need to search different alternatives to search for clients.
Given the trend of freelancing. I'm sure that the freelancing jobs would flourish and will appreciate next year. I also think that more people would be interested in entering this field.
I am planning to devote most of my idle time in freelancing sites next year as it gives me a good earnings that I can be used for paying my monthly bills and for other important benefits that I can make use of it. I feel really guilty sometimes whenever I am not able to cater my freelancing sites even though there are some time that I am available to do it. I think it is about time to make some changes and focus on things that makes my interest and benefits me most. I am hoping that I could gain a favorable earnings on my freelancing sites as I would try to indulge more time and effort from working on it.
I think that Freelancing is definitely on the upswing these days. This trend is going to continue in the next year and there will be a higher numbers of jobs available for freelancers around the World. However i also think that there will be a greater influx of newcomers to this field in the next year and therefore there will be more competition.
Well, that's a given. The higher number of freelancers, the greater the competition is. It would be very challenging, but we have to keep ourselves strong.
Good point! Just like YouTubers, musicians and influencers... as technology advances it's just gonna create more opportunities therefore, more competition which is gonna be frustrating for newcomers as well.
I think that working as a freelancer is a very challenging task as we can get a lot of competitors and a huge requirement for us to succeed.Due to the rapid advancement in the technology that we are experiencing right now, people really see the benefits of having a freelance works either in full time or part time work since it can give us a better earnings since it is not only good that we have a regular work and we need to be practical nowadays and have some sort of extra income if possible.
The internet is exploding and the growth is continuous so what we are having now will be more next year. For the freelancers I guess the jobs will also multiply but the opportunity will depend also on the growth of the number of freelancers. But I guess freelancing is here to stay because the more business there is in the internet, the more work there will be and freelancers will fill in the gap.
Business platforms changes quickly in order to adapt new ways to generate income. As we face 2019 head on, I believe that it will not depreciate due to existing demand for freelance work that is hassle free for employers and employee. I've noticed an increased in the need for freelancer and it will increased more as development is geared more on works that requires work at home.
Do you think freelance jobs would appreciate ore depreciate in 2019: I think freelance job will be appreciated more this coming 2019 because as what I've observe even now almost computer literate people are searching for an extra job online aside from their full time job what more to those who don't jobs and only staying at home specially to those mommies out their.
Freelancing jobs is one of the things that makes my interest for now because I learned so many things from it and it helps me to have some extra money than doing some nonsense things in the whole day. I am thinking to work as a full time freelancer during my day off mode in my offline work because I really enjoyed it very much. I really see that more and more people would be interested in working as a freelancer because people are now becoming tech savvy and very dependent with the internet as a main source of everything they want to know online.
I believe freelancing jobs will appreciate in 2019. More people are becoming more open now to freelancing and working online because they realized that it can give them a more balanced life. They can be able to earn money at the comfort of their own homes with their family and children. Some are even earning more than they were receiving before in employment. Freelancing might be difficult at the beginning but when you get to be more exposed and learn more about freelancing, that’s the time that you will be earning good and be able to benefit more from it. It also takes patience and a load of effort and time. Patience is the key.
I think freelancing jobs this 2019 will appreciate because of the high interest it is getting from the workers which want to try and earn online. The trends also were almost all about online. The famous sites are mostly related to jobs and services which drives people to either buy online or work online because of the fast growing market it is making.
I think freelance jobs will be appreciated in 2019. More people have discovered the freelancing world, some may still stay at their office job and work as part-timer in freelancing, some even quit the office job and concentrate in freelancing jobs. There are more opportunities out there as companies are outsourcing the projects more than before. There are also many small companies or businesses coming up, and they would prefer to look for freelancers to help them with some jobs. So, I think there will be more online jobs coming up.
Do you think freelance jobs would appreciate or depreciate in 2019? I think it will be appreciated because there are so many online courses that will help you to know more about freelancing and what work will fit on your criteria also as a freelancer, we need to know more about programming, copywriting and etc. which give us opportunity to get some money for this holiday.
The appreciation or depreciation of freelance work depends on the individual freelancer. I have several friends who are successful freelancers. Once they got the taste of working from home and being their own boss and realizing they could earn consistently from that type of work, they didn't want to stop. 2019 is no different from any other year. As long as there are work opportunities for freelancers and the freelancer finds those job opps, it is very likely many doors will be opened for them.
That's true. The fact is that it has been recognized as an actual profession, so it's not a matter of how it's looked upon anymore. Your performance and success don't have anything to do with how people perceive freelancing.
